Basic Grey Challenge #6

I made this "purse" with a 7 Gypsies purse & accordion album kit, covered with Basic Grey's Urban Couture paper line. I used actual jean buttons (the kind that are held on like a grommet) for the closure, with a ribbon tied onto one side, to wrap around the other. I haven't made the accordion album for the inside yet....maybe someday!

Ribbon Storage Bag

I made this today after reading a post about a new Ribbon Storage bag called Pull-Ez. http://yourpicturedmemories.blogspot.com/
I purchased a smaller makeup bag from Walmart for $4.97. It came with a cute pouch and 2 little containers that I'm sure I will use for something crafty!I used my Silent Setter to punch holes all over the bag. I ended up with 50 holes. I filled up one side by emptying my "floss box" and still have the other side to use. I have to put it to the test to see if they get tangled up! *Update* After one week, still working fine, no tangles!

Basic Grey Challenge #5

"California Rolls in California!"
This is a layout I created for our California Trip album. I used Basic Grey "Pheobe" line of papers, cutting out a large flower from one of the papers. I included a menu from the sushi restaurant, and a tag that I had filled out while on our trip.

Birthday Card

I created this birthday card for my boyfriend using A2Z patterned paper Asiana: Feng Shui and Gung Ho. I also stamped "happy birthday" with Karen Foster Snap-a-Stamps on cream twill ribbon, and added 3 gold brads at the top.

Ikea Wall System

This is my new Ikea Bygel storage system. I love the new "scrapbooking" wall systems out there, but I wasn't going to pay the "scrapbooking" price!
So for $15...I got 2 wall rails ($1.99 ea), 3 plastic storage cups ($.99 ea), 2 wire baskets ($2.99 ea) and a set of screws. I also used a book ring to hang my ruler up!

Acrylic Album

I made this acrylic clear album for a recent Chicago Trip. I used thin sheets of acrylic (8.5 x 11) cut in half for the front and back cover. The inside sheets are cut from a large sheet of Canson clear acetate. I used Basic Grey Scarlet Letter paper, Fancy Pants stamps, Autumn Leaves stamps, staz-on ink, and various flowers, and glue dots and eyelets.

Basic Grey Challenge #2

I created this card last Christmas using Basic Grey's Fruitcake line of paper. Also used: Savvy Stamp 's snowman, and Bazzill library pockets. I attached a photo of my son on the "tag", and created the inside greeting with my computer & printer.
