Valentines Candy Photo Shoot

This a photo I did for an article about valentines day candy. The local candy company is featuring these raspberry marshmallow chocolate covered hearts this year.
Notice the use of Basic Grey paper under the tray, and the quickutz hearts.

Halloween Acrylic Album

made this acrylic album out of clear plexi and acetate sheets. It is bound together with the new Tim Holtz Grunge board shapes as hinges. Other products used: making Memories, Lil Davis, and Ki Memories.

California...Time's up!

I created this layout as the last page for our California Vacation album. I hand colored the flowers on the background paper with colored pencils. Supplies: Rusty Pickle paper, Love Elsie paper, Autumn Leaves stamp, Fiskars circle punch.

Long Beach Harbor Cruise

I made this layout for my California trip album. I used Basic Grey's Obscure papers, and a few recycled tags from some clothing. I printed my journaling on some yellow patterned paper, and used my Fiskars 2" circle punch to create the journaling spots.

"First Day of School"
I made this layout for my son's first day of school:first grade. He was showing off his toothless grin! I used Basic Grey Recess papers, a 7 Gypsies Tab, and Autumn Leaves & Inkadinkado Stamps.

Birthday Penguin

This is a birthday party invitation I made for my son's 7th birthday party. I used Scenic Route Papers, Quickutz penguin die, vellum (printed party info on printer), sand & water paper from JoAnn's , lemonade glass brads, and staples to attach vellum. I cut the umbrella shape out by hand, and used 2 different pattern papers to give it dimension.

CD Tin Accordion Album

I created this CD Tin album using a EK Success album tin set and Basic Grey "Perhaps" papers. Embellished with silk flowers, buttons, hatpin, ribbon, and stamps.

Too Much Honey!

I made this LO for a California Vacation album, and a trip to Disneyland. I used KI Memories Love Elsie Roxie and Imaginisce PP, KI Memories Love Elsie Riley clear stamps, Technique Tuesday chipboard, MSE stamps, Sandylion rub-ons, and craft supply trim. The chipboard circles were stamped with the Riley clear stamps using StazOn. I colored in the stamps with colored pencils, then I tinted the whole thing with a green watercolor wash. Furniture Find

I found this chest of drawers at Hobby Lobby today. Regular price was $179, and I got it on clearance for $35!
It's about 40 inches tall, and 18 inches wide. Each of the smaller drawers is 5.75" wide, so I can store 4 x 6 photos in the drawer on a slight angle. I am going to make divider cards for the photos to keep them organized.
The bottom door opens up to a nice space, where 12 x 12 albums will stand up in side.

Detroit Zoo Album

I made this album about a trip to the Detroit Zoo. I used Creative Imaginations box purse, and made a chipboard album to fit inside. Products used: papers;basic grey infuse, A2Z asiana, fancy pants fancy free collection. American Crafts ribbons, Quickuts dies, 7 Gypsies stamp, Karen Foster snap-a-stamps, Fancy Pants stamps, studio G ($1 M's stamps), Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, Staz-on ink, 3-D flowers (Wal-mart). craft supplies:button, staples, twine, chipboard tag from clothing line, chipboard sheets (cut for album pages), book rings.

Basic Grey Challenge #6

I made this "purse" with a 7 Gypsies purse & accordion album kit, covered with Basic Grey's Urban Couture paper line. I used actual jean buttons (the kind that are held on like a grommet) for the closure, with a ribbon tied onto one side, to wrap around the other. I haven't made the accordion album for the inside yet....maybe someday!

Ribbon Storage Bag

I made this today after reading a post about a new Ribbon Storage bag called Pull-Ez. http://yourpicturedmemories.blogspot.com/
I purchased a smaller makeup bag from Walmart for $4.97. It came with a cute pouch and 2 little containers that I'm sure I will use for something crafty!I used my Silent Setter to punch holes all over the bag. I ended up with 50 holes. I filled up one side by emptying my "floss box" and still have the other side to use. I have to put it to the test to see if they get tangled up! *Update* After one week, still working fine, no tangles!
